Amazon Prime Video and Tool worked with Twitch to produce “Battle Cars,” an event tailor-made to engage the largest live-streaming community of gamers. Tool took a platform-first promotional approach, built around engaging a key target audience for The Grand Tour. “Battle Cars” was a worldwide interactive gaming experience that included a life-size game board where different regions, each represented by a Twitch influencer, played against each other. In addition to providing creative production solutions on the project, director Brig White designed a branded entertainment experience specifically for Twitch. This included creative collaboration on the custom-designed segment, script, run of show, technological setup, and logistics. The broadcast was the largest branded content broadcast (non gaming) of the last two years.
